Opening multiple charts can be done by right-clicking on the symbols or currency pairs from the market watch window and clicking the “Chart Window” option from the pop-up menu.
Any number of charts can be opened in this way, this is to compare and monitor multiple charts at the same time.
Some of the best practices are, opening four different currency pairs of same timeframe. For example, let’s add EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, USDJPY of 15 minutes’ time-frame chart.
There are different timeframes available in the “timeframe tool bar” highlighted in the box.
M1 for 1 minute, M5 for 5 minute, M30 for 30 minutes, H1 for 1 hour, H4 for 4 hours, W1 for 1 week and MN for 1 month.
If the “timeframe tool bar” is not available or not seen as shown, click on view menu and then click on toolbars and click on the option “Timeframes” from the sub-menu. Now, the “timeframe tool bar” will be displayed as shown in the video.
Click on each currency pair from the Market Watch window and click the “Chart Window” option from the drop-down menu.
Now, we have opened the charts of 4 different currency pairs.
After selecting each chart by clicking on it, click 15-minute timeframe. Now, all the charts are of 15-minute timeframe.
To arrange the display of 4 opened charts in an order, right-click on the chart tab at the bottom of the chart window, and click “Tile Windows”. All the chart window tabs are arranged in a Grid display.

Another best practice is to open multiple charts of same currency at different time-frame, let’s open EURUSD with 4 different time-frames, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours and 1 day.
Let’s display the chart tabs in a Grid layout, by right clicking on the chart tabs at the bottom and clicking on “Tile Windows” option from the pop-up menu.
