His 'new measures' in evangelism permanently shaped American evangelism.
Claimed to have led 500,000 people into the kingdom of God.
At New York, he really disliked the preaching over there as being dead orthodoxy
After the so-called conversion, the next days when his client comes he says 'I have a retainer from the Lord to plead for him and so, I cannot plead yours'
He looked at his conversion as if he made a decision. So, this would mark his style of ministry.
Refused to go to Princeton and instead became an apprentice with George Gale (Who was a Calvinist).

Andrew Fuller
Read books on the marrow controversy.
The hyper Calvinism of that time used to say that if a verse comes upon oneself with immense force, then it was God personally giving the person the particular promise.
Once he got a very immense promise, 'Sin shall not have dominion over you.' Immediately he thought was in a state of salvation. However, he still struggled badly with sin.
The hyper Calvinists believe that you cannot believe without a warrant to believe.
He searched so hard for the warrant of faith that he got so frustrated that in the end, he said, 'I will go into the presence of God if I die, I die'.
Once Andrew Fuller's church had a young man who refused to repent from drinking because he said that he was a young Christian and he yet needs to understand the
the deceitfulness of his own heart.
HyperCalvinism
Andrew Fuller wrestled with hyper Calvinism for a long time.
He struggled with not being able to give a free offer of the gospel.
He studies Gill's body of divinity and finds hyper-Calvinism in it.
He also studies John Bunyan and finds issues with the free offer of the gospel that Bunyan gives.
His further studies with 15th and 16th century Calvinists, particularly John Owen. He then realizes that Gill did not have the historical Calvinist view.
