Around thirty minutes ago I completed by second workout in this course, and the first workout of this week. My workout lasted almost 30 (thirty) minutes but ended up being around 27 (twenty-seven) minutes long. My goal in this workout was to continue to warm up my muscles and my cardio through these different exercises, in order to prepare for the rest of this semester. The first workout of this course completely destroyed my body, in a good way. After the first workout I could genuinely barely walk, but I did notice after completing this second one that my body was getting used to exerting with extra effort, and I believe that is a step in the right direction. For my back workout I did 50 reps on each arm of isolated dumbbell rows with a fifteen pound weight, and I enjoyed focusing my mind muscle connection on my back and trying my best to develop and perform with proper form. The most challenging workout was definitely the fifty pushups, as I could feel my chest still healing from being sore and going through strain in the first workout. Overall, I think this workout was a step in the right direction and I worked very hard to complete it in it's entirety, and look forward to my next workout later this week. I just completed the third workout for this class, the 'Terrific 30s', and I can still feel my elevated heartrate from how hard I was pushing myself. This workout took me approximately 25 minutes, and was genuinely challenging throughout the whole workout. My body is was still sore from the original workout as well as the one earlier on this week, but I pushed through it because I know my body will improve and adapt accordingly soon. My goal during this workout was to challenge myself by not over resting and taking long breaks, so I worked with quite a bit of endurance and that was challenging for me. I'd like to point out that more than one of these exercising was challenging for me, especially the abdominal section and the pull-ups as well. I tried my hardest to perform 30 fully perfect pullups, but due to my weight I had to focus form and having some assist in these pullups, but nevertheless I still completed it. I enjoy the leg workouts the most because previously working out a few years ago I definitely neglected working out my lower half, so it feels great to see some improvement in my ability to perform lunges and squats. In conclusion, this third workout was extremely challenging and took all of my focus, not just with my body, but my mind as well.
