미국 생명주의 운동 단체 갈라 세미나에 한국인으로 이종락, 김지연 대표 초대 받아
미국에서 생명을 지지하고 반생명주의를 반대하는 연례 gala 대회와 캠페인이 올해 1월 23일 워싱턴 D.C.에서 열린다.
새라 허커비 샌더스(Sarah Huckabee Sanders)와 카트리나 잭슨(Katrina Jackson) 그리고 미국에서 가장 영향력 있는 기독교 사업체가 후원하는 이번 갈라 대회는 생명을 살리는 데 앞장 서고 후원하는 기업인들이 대거 참석하는 자리이다.
▶세이브더스톡스은 낙태를 고려중인 여성들이 초음파를 통해 잉태된 아기를 만나고 생명을 선택하도록 돕는 차량을 운영하고 있다
특히 낙태 위기 여성을 도와 생명 잉태를 돕는 미국의 대표적인 단체인 Save the storks 가 주최한다.
2019년에는 펜스 부대통령이 참석했었다.

특히 올해는 한국 인사 2명도 초대 되었다.
베이비 박스 운영을 통해 수많은 생명들을 구하고 있는 이종락 목사와 생명주의 성경적 성교육 단체의 대표 김지연 약사가 초청을 받았다.
▶2019년 8월 24일부터 29일까지 진행된 필리핀 마닐라 교회에서 한국가족보건협회 대표인 김지연 약사의 강연 후 기념촬영을 하고 있는 참석자들
이번 갈라를 통해 미국 주요 생명주의 단체들 및 지지 기업인들이 하나로 마음을 모으게 된다.
특히 한국 생명주의 진영 인사를 미국 에서 초대하고 협력한다는 차원에서 큰 의미가 있을 것으로 보인다.
본 갈라 대회에 참여하는 김지연 대표는 인근 한인 교회에서 열리는 성경적 성교육 세미나에서 주강사로 강연하고 올 예정이다.
