I enjoy listening to music from different cultures when I'm bored. It helps to feel happier.

It's real. It's true that sometimes when I'm feeling down I'll go to Youtube looking up random music, random songs popular in other countries. Some of the songs make me laugh , because it'll be a big revelation.. Because other languages can sometimes sound funny to me. I am Russian, I grew up in Russia until I reached the an age of legal. I've lived in America since. That's why I'm fluent in a variety of different languages. Some languages make me giggle like a child every when I watch their videos. Music is not important to me since I'm mostly listening to the words, emotions and the flow. French and Turkish Rap, Hip Hop and Russian Recipient as well as Trap are my favorite tracks. Spanish hard rock. Chinese heavy metal. Some of these don't even sound like real music, but all countries, all cultures go thru similar developmental steps as well as similar genres of music that flow across many different cultures. This is what I am happiest to watch.. Yes some of them make me smile, but it's simply jolly laughter. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone.

I generally skip most of these songs because I am more into folklore that is local, and is music you don't listen to on American radios. Russian music seems a little forced for me. Maybe it's because I spent most of my adult life in the USA but Russian music always seems odd to me. I'm not sure. I listen but it's often a little boring.

I enjoy music from many different countries However, I am still a fan. And I suggest you do it too. It's refreshing, and sometimes funny.
