When I'm feeling bored, I like listening to music from other cultures. It makes me feel happier.

It's the truth. It's the truth. I'm honest about it. When I am feeling down, Youtube is my best friend. I check out random songs from other countries and sometimes I get an itch of inspiration. Some of it makes me laugh, because, well, it'll be shocking.. Because , well, other languages sometimes make me laugh. I am Russian and I was raised in Russia until I reached the legal age. Since then I've been living in USA. I'm fluent in many languages, and have experienced many. When I watch their videos, some languages make my heart swell with laughter. click here The music part is often irrelevant since I'm paying attention to the words, the emotions, and the rhythm. French and Turkish Hip Hop is particularly funny for me. Russian recitatives, trap. Spanish hardrock. Chinese heavy metal. While some of these may not be authentic, all countries go through similar development steps. Similar music genres are common across different cultures. This is why I love it..

Perhaps it's because I've lived for a large portion of my time in the United States, but Russian music has always seemed strange to me. I don’t know. Sometimes it’s just a bit superficial.

I still love all types of music from different countries. It's something I strongly recommend. It's both refreshing and sometimes even hilarious.
