Youtube: How do you locate the most popular songs from other countries?

This is something I've been thinking about for a long time. Being a U.S. citizen I've been absorbed in pop music culture. Dua Lipa wearing slippers, Kanye West admiring his dwarfed wife. I love pop culture and all of the people who participate. I think I would be a great host of one of these Gossip & Hollywood information-talk shows. They feature celebrities in their underwear. The hosts then move on to the less-popular and end with flashbacks to the past, or sightings to begin with that haven't been seen for some time. I'd like to share the news and gossip with passion, joy, while current hosts just smack some, and never connect to the story.

I've been trying to include more music coming from other countries to the pool of listeners. For starters I'm trying to figure out what music is the most popular in different countries. I started with a couple of European monoliths like Germany, UK France Sweden Spain Portugal etc. After a long time on Youtube, I thought I was a pro and could share all the information I wanted.. But not so easy.. Apparently all one can see is the hottest and most popular music that is popular in their region or their country at the most. Therefore, I looked at other websites in the hope of finding the top 20 YouTube-popular songs in their region. I stayed looking.. After several weeks of little to no success in finding a source of recent, current songs from other countries, it was time to stop. My solution was so far to utilize a free-proxy type of plugin in Firefox (usually FF has better plugins and has more affection from the developers, I would guess) which would connect me to the Internet through someone else who was from a different country which would allow me to browse Youtube like I was located in Spain or Germany. It was not reliable as such connections are known to go away and slow, but it was a solution for me, so I tried it. The limited availability of good sources and the need to find reliable ones were getting to me.

It was the Top 20 Youtube videos most well-known link. It was able to load as many as two dozen Youtube videos, which gave the USA chart. My surprise was when Top 20 trending German music videos loaded.. My eyes were tearing up, I've scoured 25 languages the site hasand every one has a the latest top 20 songs that are trendy and popular for the language, and countries that are major in it and I'm guessing.. It doesn't matter how that happens, I enjoyed the speed of delivery. It's simple, quick and simple to use. You can navigate through and change languages, and find the top-rated songs from Korea and other countries such as Hungary, Romania and Portugal.
