• Pemakan serangga.
• Memiliki bulu, yang bisa digunakan sebagai ramuan pelupa, karena itu ia diincar dan menjadikan jenisnya hampir punah.
• Tidak pernah bersuara sampai saatnya mereka akan mati. Teriakan atau tangisan panjang Jobberknoll saat ia akan mati adalah flashback dari apa yang pernah ia dengar semasa hidupnya. Hal ini juga dikaitkan dengan mitologi
'Swan Song', mitos seekor angsa yang akan mengeluarkan tangisan panjang saat ia akan mati.
