History of the Game. In 1994, Derek Webb invented 3 Card Poker. This game was known by a different name and was also known as Brit-Brag or Casino Brag. Webb applied to patents and was granted patents in both the United States of America and the United Kingdom. He then began marketing Prime Table Games 3 card poker.
Stud poker is the second-oldest type of poker game after the straight variant. The rule of this game is that a hand is dealt in a combination prearranged. The combination may be in the form of face-down and face-up, or streets round. The seven card stud is the most widely used variant of this game. It is followed by five-card and five-card. Other variants include the six card stud (Mexican stud), Caribbean stud (Mississippi stud), Kentrel and Razz (among others).
