What is Bitfinex?
Bitfinex is a digital asset trading platform offering state-of-the-art services for digital currency traders and global liquidity providers.

How to deposit funds to Bitfinex?
1. First of all, you need to go to your deposit page.
2. From the list of currencies, select the one you wish to deposit.
3. Then, fill in the details of your deposit.
4. Important: Be sure to include a tag or a memo if needed.
5. Choose which of your wallets you will be depositing from. For an overview of the different wallets, see here.
6. Now, copy the address created for the specific wallet.
Note: Choose Copy to Clipboard when copying the address to ensure the address is copied correctly.
Open the external wallet from which you wish to access your funds. Then, send the funds (e.g. using MyEtherWallet) and paste your Bitfinex deposit address into the application as the transfer destination.

How to make a withdrawal at Bitfinex?

On Bitfinex, a withdrawal refers to a transaction in which you transfer funds from your Bitfinex account to an external party, that can be either a wallet, an exchange or a bank.

1. Go to your withdrawal page.
2. From the list of currencies, select the one you wish to withdraw.
3. Then fill in the details of your withdrawal.

5. Press Request Withdrawal.

How to sign up on Bitfinex Mobile App?

1. First of all, open the Bitfinex mobile app and find the Sign-Up button on the top right-hand side.
2. Then, create an account by entering the required information: Username, Email, Password, and check the security consent box. For your convenience, you can select a suitable time zone.
Note: A strong password must be at least eight characters long, containing at least one uppercase letter, one number and one special character.
3. Good job! Now, you will need to create and confirm a PIN code for your mobile app that will be requested each time you open the app.
Note: If your phone allows, you will also be able to enable Face ID or Touch ID.
4. After that, you will be directed to the Two-Factor Authentication setup page.
Here, you can choose:
• Open 2FA App (It will prompt for your consent to open the Google Authenticator app if installed on your phone. Once opened, the new token will be directly added in.)
• View QR and Secret code (If you wish to save this information as it will not be shown again after enabling it.)
5. Here, you can copy the code and paste it in the Input Code section or enter your Google Authenticator 2FA token as seen in the screenshot below.
6. Almost finished! The last step is email confirmation. Check your inbox and confirm the setting up of your account.
Once your email is confirmed, accept the Bitfinex Terms of Service in order to proceed to the trading page and you’re all done. Congratulations!

How to transfer funds to third-party wallets?

A third-party wallet refers to a digital wallet that is outside of Bitfinex. You will be able to move funds out of your Bitfinex wallet to a third-party wallet through making a withdrawal.
Note: Once a withdrawal has been sent from Bitfinex and successfully processed onto the blockchain, we cannot take further responsibility.

How to transfer funds from my Bitfinex wallets?


How to transfer funds from the Wallets page?
1. Firstly, go to the Quick Transfer widget on the left side of the Wallet page.
2. Then, type in the amount you would like to transfer in the Amount box.
Note: You can view your balances across all assets at the bottom of the Wallets page. By clicking on the Available Balance, the Amount box on the widget will automatically update with the available balance.
3. Now, select from the Currency tab on the drop-down menu.
4. In the fourth box, choose from which wallet to which you would like to send to and press the green Transfer button.

How to transfer funds on the Trading page?

1. Firstly, tap on the currency you wish to send and then click Transfer on the Balances box.
2. Next, you will see the option to click on the Wallet you wish to transfer funds out of and the relevant wallets you can transfer the funds to.
3. Lastly, a pop-up window will appear so you can check your request and finalise the transfer by clicking Transfer.
Note: Tokens not supported on Margin Trading or Margin Funding will not move to those wallets.
