The formulation and identification of your research problem is the initial step in the research process. By formulating your research problem, you will be able to properly define the purpose of your study to yourself and your intended audience. Once the problem has been defined, a summary should be written down. At this step, the researcher should do an extensive literature search related to the problem. The third step is to develop hypotheses. After an extensive literature survey, the researcher should state in clear terms the working hypothesis or hypotheses. Discussions with peers and experts regarding the problem, its origins, and the aims in finding a solution. The fourth step is preparing for the research design. In this step, you need to consider the means of how you will obtain the information you need, such as conducting a diagnosis and experimentation. The fifth step is to collect the data. The procedure of acquiring and measuring information on certain parameters is carried out in this step.
