Baccarat: Where did it come from?
Baccarat is played using three cards that are dealt in four suits: Aces, kings and queens, and Jacks. The winner is the player who has the highest total points at the end. The scoring is made with a small deck which comprises cards from top to the bottom. The cards are dealt from Ace up to King, and from Jack up to Queen. There is no clue about how the cards are to be dealt or which kind of suit they should be placed in. This game does not have an expiration date.

Baccarat first became popular in the 15th century. Today it is a favored game played at casinos across the globe. In North America, it is especially popular in casinos of Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Baccarat was first introduced to the world by the Italians in the Renaissance when they introduced it as an option for gambling.

The origin of baccarat can be traced to France, where the term "tabacot" was used to describe the card deck. This was adopted later by Spain, England, Belgium and Russia. Baccarat has seen an increase in popularity over the last few years in European casinos. There are many European casinos offer their own distinct styles of playing, as well as variations of the baccarat theme that are extremely popular in the United States.

America has a relatively new variant of Baccarat. It is also referred to as "punto banco" and is played with an Italian-style pack consisting of 52 cards. "Bond" was introduced to North America by Steve Berry who was a resident of southern California in the early days. He introduced the game of cards to California by way of mail. Baccarat is a common game in casinos across North America, South America and Europe. The Monte Carlo Casino in Europe is the most well-known version. The most famous Las Vegas version of the game is played at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino.
