Varieties in Poker
Poker, also referred to as holdem poker, is any of the numerous card games that allow players to place bets over which hand they think is best based on the rules of that game. Poker can be played in a variety of variations, such as Texas Holdem as well as Badugi, Omaha, Five-Card Stud, and Italian. Online poker is played using software programs or online games.

Holdem poker is a popular form of poker. In this variant, each player has an independent deck with chips in the middle that represent money, and the individual cards are known as poker chips. Draw Poker is a variant of holdem poker in which the dealer does not have to keep any of the cards after the initial deal. After that, players may choose to keep all their cards or take the remaining deck. This is done by calling out the top four cards of the player with the highest number of chips. If there is still a match, then the player with the highest chips takes home the prize. Draw Poker is usually played using two decks of cards however it may be played with four.

Word Poker is a variation of poker held in a different way in the sense that two players are seated next to each other, and each player receives five cards face down. If there is a match, all players have a list of possible cards they could face. If a player is dealt five cards, they pull out the five that correspond to the words in their hands. The pot is won by the person who has the least number of cards.
