-HARD DRIVE
A hard disk drive is compartments to hold data. This data is can hold my applications, and any files i have created.
The compartments that hold the data can be spread out all over the hard disk. That is, data is not written sequentially.
The platter and the accuator arm are delicate, so they are covered by a steel case. This prevents damage to the disk under normal circumstances.

power supply converts the alternating current (AC) from a wall socket of mains electricity to a low-voltage direct current (DC) to operate the motherboard and processor

The motherboard is a printed circuit board and foundation of a computer that is the biggest board in a computer chassis. It allocates power and allows communication to and between the CPU, RAM, and SOME OF THE other computer, hardware components.

GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit. It’s the ‘brain’ of the graphics card and it’s what creates the visuals you see on the screen. How powerful a GPU is will vary on the model you select. In effect, the GPU works as a translator. It takes data coming from the CPU (Central Processing Unit) and transforms it into imagery. More complex visuals, like you would find in high-definition games, require more complex and quicker GPUs to accommodate the stream of data.

The purpose of RAM is to provide quick read and write access to a storage device. Your computer uses RAM to load data because it's much quicker than running that same data directly off of a hard drive.

Case fan - a fan on the side of a computer case, inside the case. ...
CPU fan - a fan on top of a computer processor. It helps pull and blow hot air off the processor, helping keep it cooler.
Power supply fan - a fan located inside a power supply.

When referring to computers, a case is a term used to describe a computer chassis that holds all the parts that make a computer.
With computer hardware, a case may be used to describe the enclosure containing the hardware components.
