Understanding Omaha Poker
There are two types of bets you can make: the Ante or the Pair Plus. The Ante is the cost of playing the hand. The Pair Plus bet is that you will get hands with a pair of cards or higher. You don?t have to make them both, but you must at least bet the Ante to stay in this game.

Showdown is a special feature in Hold'em. This is where players try to combine a card or two or maybe none from the ones they are holding in their hands with the five cards placed on the table. There are different combinations that can bring winnings.

Whist could be called "Bridge, Jr" -- and though it is not as big a game as it once was, and is dwarfed in popularity by big-brother Bridge, Whist has never really died out. Card gamers love trick taking games. Being able to beat your opponent visually is one of card games' most exciting aspects. Whist offers some of the same complexity as Bridge but without any bidding.

The memory seven card poker strategy involves looking at your opponents' cards. There will be players at the table who fold their cards and these are the cards you have to remember. It might come to a stage where you are trying to turn one card. If your opponents have already folded cards, then you will know whether the card is still in play. It is a good idea to keep track of the folded cards using a numerical sequence. Any pattern will help you recall better. The more you practice this, the easier it will be to form a habit.

Texas hold'em can be played with 52 cards, and no jokers. The dealer button is where the cards are dealed. Every player starts with two cards facing down. Finally, the fifth card is dealt face up and is called river.

These are not recommended, as they can easily be copied by anyone with a printer at their home or access to print shops.
