Tergolong kedalam beast KKMXXX, Meski bernanama Kepiting api, hewan ini amat menyerupai kura-kura besar dengan tempurung yg dipenuhi dg batu permata, hewan ini memiliki 6 kaki spt kepiting, tempat hidupnya ada difiji. Tak hanya para muggle yg tergoda akan tempurungnya para penyihirpun juga tergoda akan tempurungnya yg dpt dijadikan kuali.
Jika dalam keadaan terancam kepiting ini akan mengeluarkan lidah api dr ekornya. Ada 3 jenis berlian yg ada ditempurungnya yaitu, Ruby, Sapphire dan Emerald

Jika kematian menghampirinya burung ini akan menaggis/teriakan panjang untuk flashback dr apa yg dia dengar semasa hidupnya.
