With this position, you can control the reptile's body and prevent yourself from being injured. Relocate the snake to a safe location. The animal must be carried in a pillowcase or container to a safe place by vehicle, if there is no local haven. The head of the snake should be gently pointed in the direction you want the snake to travel. If you have a pillow case, gently drain the snake out so that it's partially still covered. Back away from the pillowcase after you've left it on the ground. The linen can be retrieved once the snake has slithered away.
To make the above method less direct, you can try throwing the snake into a large garbage bin. With a broom, guide the snake into the bin. Make sure you don't hit or push the snake inside. A smooth bin will prevent the snake from climbing out and will allow for safe relocation.
To remove snakes from the house, use a pillowcase and a shirt. Place your shirt or light blanket over the snake and scoop it up, placing them both inside the pillowcase. Placing the pillowcase inside a garbage bin or large storage container will allow the snake to come out. A lid with holes over the container is required. The snake can now be transported safely. Using these traps will allow you to remove the snake from your property without having to handle it directly.
