Five Card Draw Winning Strategies
In Crazy Pineapple, each player is dealt three pocket cards face down and around of betting follows. The dealer will turn over three community cards (the flip) and then a second round is initiated. At this point, all players must discard one of their pocket cards. The turn card is then flipped and followed by a round betting. The river card is then flipped and a fourth round of betting take place. During the showdown, players can use both of their remaining pocket cards and three community cards to form the best five card poker hand, or players have the option of using only one of their pocket cards and four community cards. Players can also choose to play the five community cards as their hand. Discarding one of your pocket cards creates an extra strategic dimension to this poker variation.
