Snakes, how to catch them, and other tips.

You can try shooing the snake into a large garbage bin if the above method is too direct. With a broom, guide the snake into the bin. Make sure you don't hit or push the snake. This will injure it. Because the sides of the bin are smooth, snakes cannot climb out and can be relocated safely.
You can eliminate snakes inside the house by using a shirt and pillowcase. Your shirt or blanket can be placed over the snake, and then you can scoop the snake and shirt up. Place the pillowcase inside a garbage can or large storage container to allow the snake to escape if needed. The lid should have holes for air flow. The snake is now ready to be transported.
