The best way to catch a snake.
1 - The particular safest option is always to set a leather trap.
If you can't get the snake yourself, hire a professional snake expert.
3 - If you know for sure the snake is non-venomous, you can actually catch the snake by grabbing into it with thick gloves. Place it in a pillow case and relocate it.
4 - If you don't want to handle the snake, or if you cannot identify it, or if you just can't reach it, then a snake hook or snake tongs can be used.

If you find the above method too direct, you can try shooing the snake into a big garbage can. A broom is helpful for guiding the snake into the bin. It is best not to hit or push the snake inside. You don't want to hurt it. By using a bin with smooth sides, you can ensure the snake doesn't climb out and will make it easier to relocate it.
A shirt and a pillowcase can be used to remove a snake that is inside the house. Scoop up your shirt or light blanket and place it in the pillowcase with the snake. You can place a pillowcase inside a garbage can or large storage bin to let the snake out. Using an airtight lid, cover the container. Now you can move your snake.
