Eviction threats after the covid-19 pandemic

Over the years, hundreds of people and households live in the housing and the risk of eviction. The Covid-19 pandemic has created additional risks of eviction and homeless people. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the order of the Minister of Justice of Georgia was sentenced to a moratorium, although the registration of statements about the eviction of the National Bureau of LEPL-Enforcement and the proceedings did not stop. Obviously, in the course of the static situation, there is a decision on the moratorium for years in the field of housing and eviction, but the problem creates a number of other legal regulation and the existing practice, which is more severely revealed by the Covid-19 pandemic When completing, after the moratorium will be abolished and tangible risks to generate evictions in the country will be created.

Due to the situation created in the country, the aim of the document is to review the policy of eviction from home to the Covid-19 pandemic, to analyze existing challenges, threats and mechanisms for their overcoming future.
