Sam

Ok Sam its time to finally tell you this and I’m surprised you haven’t figured this out yet. (I mean you probably have had some thoughts on it.) But whatever, I want you to hear me out entirely before you respond to what I say.
So about a month back I’ve been doing some thinking. I was thinking about our friendship and how I felt about you as a person. I thought of all the times I’ve told you that I loved you and all that shit but then I started thinking to myself, “How do I really feel about Sam?” Do I love him? Or do I REALLY love him? Now Sam I just want to tell you three things that may or may not affect your answer to the next question I am about to ask you.

1st: I have never been so comfortable with anyone else in my life.
I feel I can talk to you without regrets on anything I say because I’ve built a trust with you that I have never done with anyone else before. You are an incredible person and very entertaining to talk to. Even telling you this right now is no problem because I feel everything will be alright with you no matter your reaction.
2nd: You are attractive. But when I think about you, I don’t think of sexual things.
Now at first this sounds like a bad thing to say to someone but this is actually a really good compliment meaning I don’t just talk to you because I’m trying to “get it in.” (That was not my goal this whole time.) I talk to you because you are as I have stated before, a fun person and just seeing you on skype or school makes me very happy. Seeing you smile is a blessing and I really care about what mood you are in and watch out for when you’re not feeling like dealing with my annoying shit.
3rd: I am not the most attractive man nor am I hardcore, metal, have piercings, tattoos, play in a band or anything you look for when it comes to someone you would date, but I can do for you something no other man can… and that is give you nothing but love, attention, and support to you and whatever you desire. You might say something like “I don’t think you’re prepared to deal with the shit I can give you.” or “You will eventually grow tired of me.” or even “I’m too depressing.” but honestly I don’t give a shit. Sam you can’t help that you are the way you are and I am willing to stay by your side no matter the cost, no matter how your mood can swing, even if you treat me like shit I will understand your mood has taken over. I definitely know what I’m getting into and you don’t need to tell me that.
I’m sure you’ve already figured out what I’m trying to say and I would expect that from you because you are super smart when it comes to these types of things. (Also its a little obvious.)
And I know a lot of guys say this but I want to ensure you that I am different than the rest of those idiots. I really like you and I just wanted to ask if you would be willing to give me a chance to be your boyfriend? Sure I’m straight and you’re gay but who cares? We’re both asexual and my love is towards who you are and your emotions, not your body.
