Soccer - The Game To Admire
All of us want more playing time. You can't leave the field if you are a true competitor.

Brown's memorable professional career led to his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971, while The Sporting News selected him as the greatest football player of all-time. Brown's Syracuse-based football abilities earned him a college football hall of fame berth. Brown was also inducted into the Lacrosse Hall of Fame. This gave him a rare triple crown. He is also one of few athletes to have been inducted into more than one Hall of Fame sport.

Osborne drafted future NFL quarterbacks Jerry Tagge (now Dave Humm) and Vince Ferragamo (now NU) to lead these offenses. NU was the quarterback. In 1970, NU was a half-run half-pass team. They were split fairly evenly from 1969 through the late 70s. NU won National Titles 1971 and 1970 using this "spread pass" system. dominoqq , a NU receiver, won the Heisman Trophy for 1972. But while Osborne's 1970 and 1971 team had won National Titles (both teams had incredible defenses), his teams in the mid and late 70s were getting beat every year by Oklahoma and often didn't fare well in Bowl Games. Although NU's teams won 9-10 consecutive games every year it wasn't the goal. The goal was to compete at National Championships.

Remember that any goal is possible if we work hard enough. When you practice and play football, you need to be positive. You can be an incredible football player game player! If you keep this in mind, you will find you have more drive and passion for the game as you play.

You know what they say is about people who do the exact same thing over and over, but expect different outcomes. This is often the standard definition of "insanity". It seems that many of our youth football coach friends suffer from this player-decimating affliction. They keep doing the same old thing year after year while ending up with same frustrating poor or choppy results. I went through this post-season assessment in my first years of coaching youth soccer. I knew that I needed better football players to solve the problem. My thoughts were, "All I needed was a stronger x player, a stronger y player, and kids who were more motivated, larger, etc. It wasn't always my fault. I needed a "good group" to do well.

A football compressions short can also be made from a football girdle. They are worn under your football pants. This is when you are using as compression shorts, that is.

There are many national and regional camps available that can help you gain exposure. High school players go through drills and some camps have coaches from top programs.

If you have Division II ability and speed and you plan to attend USC or Notre Dame camps then you could be wasting a lot of time, especially if your senior year is in high school.
