10 Different Ways To Use Wallpaper In Your Home
Wallpaper is a great tool that you can use in many different ways! You do not need to take the traditional route and cover all four walls with wallpaper. Instead, you can think outside of the box and use it in a variety of different ways. If you are not sure on the different ways in which you can use wallpaper, then keep reading because this blog is for you.

1. Cover all four walls
We will start with the traditional way of wallpapering which is to use it on all of the walls in the room. However, just because it is traditional, does not mean that you need to stick with the garish patterns of the 1970s or the sickly flowers of the 1980s. To avoid offending the eyes, keep to contemporary patterns, textures, and styles. Here are a few examples of modern wallpapers which will be sure to revamp your living room.

Art Deco Geometric Wallpaper in Navy Blue & Gold striped wallpaper is another great option to cover all four walls as you can see from the stunning example above. 2. Cover half of the wall
A great way to make wallpaper a tad more interesting is to only use it on the top or bottom half of the wall, and to use paint on the other part of the wall. The beauty of using wallpaper on half of the wall is that the different color combinations are endless and it’s also a really good option if you are budgeting.

As you can see from the image above, this is a great option to use with the bottom half of the wall covered in white panels for a touch of extra class. 3. Put wallpaper in the gaps in the wall
If you have walls that have interesting gaps and dips, then you can put wallpaper inside those gaps, or only on certain parts of the wall. This is a unique and fun way to use wallpaper and prevents bold wallpaper from being too overpowering.

It creates a whole new dimension to the room and looks a lot more interesting than having a flat painted wall. 4. Create a feature wall
Feature walls are a hugely popular way to use wallpaper! You do not need to commit to using it in the whole room, and this way you can get away with using a bolder wallpaper in a more subtle way. Here are a few ways to use a feature wall.

5. Wallpaper the ceiling
Don’t be too shy to wallpaper the ceiling – it’s something that people often overlook, but it is a fantastic way to add colour, texture and pattern to any room. 6. Decoupage furniture
Another trick you can do with wallpaper is to use it on your furniture. This is a cost-effective and elegant way to elevate your furniture. It also adds value if you wanted to sell it on, because the furniture instantly becomes unique and you won’t be able to find it anywhere else. Alternatively, you can match your furniture to the wallpaper that you have used on your walls in the background for a perfectly colour coordinated room! 7. Frame wallpaper as art
If you struggle to find the exact piece of artwork that you want for your wall, then you can create the perfect piece of framed art yourself using wallpaper! This is also a great option if you have a feature wall of wallpaper and want to match the painted wall to the artwork as you can just use the leftover wallpaper that you used for the feature wall to do this.

8. Wallpaper around parts of the wall
Another option is to wallpaper around dips or alcoves that you have in the wall, as shown in the image below. This is a great way to distinguish certain parts of your wall and to add a bit of interest to it. For example, if you wanted to section off a part of the wall to reserve it for a shelf area, then this is an excellent idea.

9. Use a wall mural
Wall murals are a great alternative to wallpaper because they paint a picture of your wall instead of having a pattern repeat. They are like one big painting that sits on your wall for you to admire, and you will keep seeing different things pop up each time you look at it.
