Crazy Pineapple offers three players the chance to receive three pocket cards each. Then, there's a round of betting. The dealer will turn over three community cards (the flip) and then a second round is initiated. At this point, all players must discard one of their pocket cards. The turn cards are flipped and then a round is held of betting. The river cards are then flipped and a fourth game of betting takes place. Players can use either their remaining pocket or three community cards, or both. Players can also choose to play the five community cards as their hand. This poker variant adds an extra strategic dimension when you discard one of the pocket cards.

Once the betting is done, a fourth community card is dealt. This card in poker is called "the Turn" card. Bettors have the option to check, raise or call, and can also fold.

This round and all subsequent rounds of betting begin with the dealer being the first player left in the hand. This player has the option to check or place a bet. He can't raise because no bets have been placed in this round. The play continues clockwise around each table until all players have called or checked and folded.

All action continues with the small blind. Each player has the option to call or raise and fold. The final round of betting will be completed.

After betting ceases on the flop, a fourth card is dealt face up for all players to use. A new round of betting begins. This round is known by the turn.

The way your opponents decide to bet or raise will help you gauge their hand strength. You can also look back at the two previous betting rounds. The river is the last decision. If you believe you have a winning hand by combining your hole cards and the board, you can bet/raise. However, if you feel that your opponents' hands are stronger, you must fold.
