If you attend an online seminar that has video events that are unique, don't watch them. Instead download the video.
This works for live videos which are restricted to subscribers only , and have a a short duration. I have never been averse to this. I'm experiencing extremely slow and spotty Internet connectivity at home, due to the fact that I am using a mobile hotspot WiFi that is located in the cheap motel next door. I often provide water to their office and then I snatch their password that is updated every two weeks. This is a way to save money on my home internet, plus I don’t have cable and it would be costly to install. I am renting, and I have the option of asking my landlord for the password. Is it really that hard to get your own home cable Internet connection? I opt to connect to the Internet at the motel and leave that out. This lets me be more discreet, since I don't have to put my street address on my web address for anything I conduct online.

Therefore, whenever an online seminar is provided by my investment advisor or my school has lectures by a renowned professor, or if there is an underground rave, streaming it will be exactly the same. My internet connection is slow, which hinders streaming videos.
