Win Big With A Poker Tournament Strategy
The best and easiest way to increase your wins is to win more pots. And the biggest factor you have to control this outcome is your betting; how much you bet and when you bet.

Just like aggression is a little counter-intuitive, that is, betting more out actually wins more back in, playing better cards can actually win you more pots.

And after you know that, you really need to focus on your opponents. You need to keep tabs on what cards they play, how much they bet etc. Then you can guess or at least estimate what cards they have when you are playing against them, and this combines with your pot odds to determine what you should do.

If you don't have a piece of the board and suspect you're up against a spite-caller, don't make the c-bet.

For example, if you were playing Texas Hold'Em at a $10-$20 table, the first betting rounds all the bets would have to be made in $10 increments. So if the bet is currently at $10, you could only raise it to $20 or call. Dependent upon the game you are playing, at some point in the game the betting limit would double, so that all the bets would then be made at $20.
