This is something that I learned the hard way. My mom was always there to remind me to be prepared for any situation. I shared my excitement about taking my first camping trip of my life with my children and grandkids. Then she came in exhaling and puffing up with instructions and advice on every aspect. I am not averse to my mom's speaking. However, watching her lecture can make things uncomfortable. Therefore, I attempted to conclude the entire thing quicker than I needed to. This was a huge mistake I realized the following day...or two.

We drove out with the car with the intention to take it all to the campsite. I was hoping to recreate the rural adventure that I had with my dad back in the day so I decided to go to one of the remotest places. It proved to be not in a location that had internet access. Our phones were not functioning which meant we were by ourselves, with no other campers. It's not a problem, I was expecting an amazing vacation, three days out in nature, with nature.. However, we returned to our cars on the way home, 24 hours after the camping trip had begun.

What did you do? We had nothing, had no internet, had no bars , and no money. I had a laptop and a couple of online games. The laptop didn't make it out of my backpack. I had nice backdrop prepared for the trees in order to watch little projector I brought with me for nice large-screen effects movies, but without Internet to access Hulu and no Netflix and no Disney+.. What is this.. My children were just too much. They wanted to check their emails, text messages and school issues, etc. I was tired of it and packed the car for the return journey. My kids made sounds similar to piglets eating delicious food after they came out from the WiFi-free zone. I truly love my children. This was embarrassing. They gasped and mooaned when their phones began to ring and announcing the arrival of messages from text.


Since then, I have learned to be more prepared and avoid getting stuck in an internet-less area without any roaming. We took a long boat ride to get to our destination. This time, I had to have my best companions, two tablets and an laptop. The laptop had every music video and music I downloaded from Hulu, Netflix, and other applications. I have over 600 hours of viewing materials which includes complete episodes of South Park, Friends, Will & Grace and Friends seasons.

I have lots of videos that are funny for kids. I downloaded some Youtube music videos, and converted a few to MP3 format. A few of the videos I downloaded the web application it allows me to have video downloaded directly to my laptop. After that, I can watch it easily at any time without Internet, just give me some electricity, if you need to recharge. I DVR many shows, movies, and just online lectures, etc., so I save them as mp4 files on my laptop. Later, I'll be able to play them with VLC/KMP , or other software that can play video files.

Another thing I insist upon is 4k. Have you ever seen? It's fantastic! I would highly recommend. Televisions that have 4K image support feature incredible software that enhances and processes the picture. The old footage is better with the latest TV, even that it's not that good to begin with, just an uninspiring blocky type of recording. However, it turns into nice and smooth contemporary video flow. Highly recommended for everyone of all age groups!
