Since you can't rely on WiFi when you are at the top of the mountain, I ensure my children are well-prepared for travel when they are with me.

Yes I did say it.. My children are so bad at this, they think WiFi on at the top of the mountain is not that good.. It's a small hill, but it is slightly higher than the standard cell network range, so my children have to walk around to find a better spot for better internet speed while me and my wife are setting up a small campsite. We plan to stay here for a few days. The small creek nearby offers fresh water. Yes.. My wife isn't able to go camping without plenty of water therefore we'll bring our own.
While my children continue to update their profiles on social media, I am taking in the view. This hill is not that huge, it's just surrounded by much bigger ones. It is a hill we visit occasionally to get closer to Mother Earth. Although I do not initiate these trips, I find them extremely enjoyable. My wife insists on doing this. Maybe she is aware of the pleasure I get from being out in the wilderness. However, my children, they're a different story entirely. I hate that the Internet occasionally stops working. The interruption to streaming music can occur because of something happening in the clouds, or possibly magnetic motions. It can be a hassle, even for me, since it can cause me to be able to hear the whole thing occur.
After a couple of trips without Wi-Fi, and with the standard internet connection on our phones constantly being disconnected, it was clear that we needed to be prepared. We, and I mean my wife and myself here, decided to be prepared for the eventuality that they, our children will be without internet for longer than 10 minutes.. We created two entertainment sources that we could access at any time the internet isn't working during our camping trips. Another was a tablet with music videos as well as current chart top songs. Our favorite Youtube MP3 converter was able to help us extract songs from videos, convert them to mp3 file and download to the tablet. It was also able use playlists, which means it was very fast even though it sounded awful. If someone was bored or blue it was still possible to listen to music and view videos. Also, for us all, sounds can be heard through Bluetooth-connected headphones. What a great idea, don't you think? No noise from that item..

The second tablet had a lot of cartoons, as well as TV shows downloaded from Hulu, Netflix and other applications. This gives offline storage to save the videos for later viewing. Although the quality isn't great, it is still something. There are many seasons of Breaking Bad and lots of cartoons such as Family Guy and Disenchantment. It's a lot of fun. It was also simple. All you had to do was install the applications and then enable downloading for offline viewing. After downloading episodes make sure you mark them available for download, and you can forget about it. Tablet 2 was just a few trips away from tablet one, but my kids loved it so much they began playing with it and watching shows. There were a few DIY videos that I added, like building a tent, or skinning fresh caught fish. Things you would never do in your home city.. A few of these videos came from Youtube and converted into mp4 which I then downloaded to my tablet. It's more convenient to have videos on your tablet even when you're working.

These two tips have kept my kids entertained throughout the four family camping trips. They're even excited to come out, as they know that the tablet 2 will make their boring leisure time more enjoyable. And they are able to bring it home anytime they'd like. It is truly everything I desire - being with my family and friends.
