Fleur De Lis - A Gemstone of High Vibrancy and High Moisture Content
Fleur de sels are sea salt flakes that can be found in numerous places around the world. They are created by evaporating seawater to form thick, salty, crumbly salt crystals. Sea fleur de sel is more commonly known as flor desal or fleur de sel. It is harvested from seaweed, as it forms as a thin, fragile crust on the exposed surface of water as it evaporated. Fleur de sels has been harvested since ancient times, and is still used today as both a drying and as a salve.

Fleur de sels have a texture that is somewhat similar to the texture of fresh sand. When dry, they feel like very fine sand that has just been lightly rubbed with sandpaper. As they warm up, they begin to take on their distinctive flavor. The texture is somewhat soft, but changes consistency as it gets cold. The texture is similar to that of cornmeal.

As fleur de sel is formed, tiny air-filled pockets develop, which hold water. This moisture becomes trapped in these pockets, which in turn become crystallized. As the crystals harden, fleur de sel becomes coarse and turns gray. As this happens, the salt begins to lose its original flavor and starts to lose its purpose as an insect repellent.

Some people believe that sea salt has a very salty taste, and that the sea itself has a salty taste. While the texture of sea salt is dependent upon the molecular density, the briny taste of fleur de sel is not dependent upon the molecular density. The briny taste comes from a process that salts go through when exposed to light. It is this briny taste that makes fleur de sel desirable as an insect repellent. It does not have a sweet or salty taste.

The flavor of fleur de sel can vary greatly depending on how it's stored. Dehumidified products retain a dry, salty taste. However, if a product is stored at room temperature, then there will be a sweetness to the taste. If you store the product in a refrigerator, then you can expect the salt to lose some of its moisture, which will leave a nice, rich taste.

Fleur de lis is formed naturally in France. It is one of the most popular colors among jewelry made in France. Many designers have created beautiful jewelry in order to capture this special, unique color. Because of its natural beauty and texture, fleur de sel tends to be slightly difficult to obtain in the United States. If you do not want to use fleur de lis, then you can use any high quality crystal that reflects the light in the room in which they are placed. You may choose a high sparkle table setting, a setting with a chandelier, or one that uses white or silver fleur de lis crystals.

Because of their high moisture content, many people prefer to use fleur de sel instead of semi-precious gemstones. Semi-precious gemstones tend to have a lower mokarana (or color temperature), so they tend to retain their more typical brightness even at high temperatures. On the other hand, fleur de lis crystals retain their color and brightness at room temperature so they can be used in place of semi-precious gemstones in jewelry. They also have a much higher thermal conductivity than most other gemstones.
