- Diricawl adalah burung dengan kemampuan yang dapat menghilang dan muncul kembali dimanapun dan kapanpun mereka inginkan agar bisa menghindari ancaman yang membahayakan diri mereka.
- Para muggle memiliki nama lain untuk mereka, yaitu Burung Dodo. Para muggle yakin burung ini sudah punah karena para muggle tidak tau kalau mereka memiliki kemampuan dapat menghilang.
- Konfederasi Penyihir Internasional tidak dapat meyakinkan bahwa Diricawl masih belum punah. Karena menurut para muggle mereka telah memburu habis Burung Dodo (begitu mereka menyebutnya) sehingga menyebabkan kepunahan mereka.
