Hey whats up guys this is zach and this is my review of the 2015 MacBook 12-inch. Lets get right into it

Starting of with the design of the Macbook, we have a stunningly thin and light design. Compared to the Macbook air 11 inch you can see that it is a nice step down in thickness but it is marginal in my book. The best way I say phrase this is that it is not as thin as an iPad. I appreciate the thin bezels on the screen and it has truly vibrant colors. With a 2304-by-1440 resolution , I can say that this screen is by apple. Yosemite is a breathtaking experience to travel through.
The battery life on this computer is perfect for the average person. By the end of the day after browsing the web, writing documents and minimal video watching I was left with 20%. This is mostly because of the Intel Core M processor which is incredibly efficient for its form factor. But what I don't like about it is that it's underpowered. Even though there is a boost clock that can be activated. The computer warns me when I'm useing google chrome for god sake. Apple rally wants you to use their apps for things like mail and web browsing as they are highly optimized for the computer. but Honestly, It is hard to trust this processor with a real computer, not tablet. I'm kind of disappointed in apple for the reason that they are not the first company to implement this processor line. IT was disappointing to me that companies like Asus and lenovo used these processers and didn't do well and yet apple still used it. I appreciate that the laptop comes with 256gb of ssd storage stock especially with the base cost of $1299. To me and everyone in my family this computer felt underpowered. Mostly because it is under developed. People buy apple products because they work and this does not follow suit. Remeber, in 2015 alone apple has released 2 whole new product lines, and if you think lik I do, yowl understand that 1st generation apple products need to be left in the oven a little bit longer. As usual I think that apple is onto something but just not yet. The keyboard and trackpad are alike. They are new and underdeveloped. and kind of a pain to work with. Typing is not fun and I wouldn't want to be cursed with a thesis due and only the macbook. The trackpad is not bad but my mom just can't seem to figure it out. I think that there are once again some underdevelopment issues. The keyboard has basically no travel and it reminds me why the chicklets are my favorite, becuase there is no sound but actual travel distance. As cool as the butterfly key switches are, I don't really like them It is hard for me to get through a single sentance without several typos but the keyboard does get easier as you use it. Getting into the port, I don't hate usb type c, but at the same time. i belive it is under developed and not accepted in the tech communty... yet. I believe it is a great advancement but tld said it best, apple shoudl have put 2 ports on the macbook. I mostly believe this because if you want to use an adapter for a flash drive you can't charge and more importantly, you cant charge while using an external display, the battery good but not that good. The adapters are expensive and I don't have the heart to buy one. my conclusion for this computer is the same as it would be for a macbook air 2008. It is big step in apples book, but it's underdeveoped. With a lack of ports and a standard that no one has moved to yet, I cannot justify keeping this computer. That is why I'm returning it and buying a 11 inch mac book air, a devoloped, more powerful, laptop. This computer feels like an ipad that grew up and came out of the oven before it was ready.
