Young DJs need to invest in top quality music. It's not a good idea to work using mp3s with low-bitrates.

I am not DJ. This is the truth I've always maintained. When I was in high school and college I was a DJ. I was unable to duplicate what I had seen elsewhere. Being a DJ, I simply had no imagination or ear to be honest. I would skip beats and I would switch to 7th instead of 8th. This made my DJ career appear impossible. I'm a devoted person who listens. I can tell if DJs are missing the beat. I can also see where they are making mistakes. But I can't entertain people continuously for many hours.

But if you're attempting to be a DJ I'd recommend not to discourage you. Don't let my experience keep you from pursuing your plans. My philosophy towards people is to do whatever you want and be the person you are. Be yourself and do your thing. DJs are people like that, and require constant assistance to grasp onto the reality. It's crucial for them to comprehend what's happening in the world and around them. Because Youtube music should not be converted to mp3 by new DJs, it is not just because it prohibited under their TOS, but due to the poor quality of the sound. However high the video resolution is (e.g. 4k 8k, 4k or 8k, etc.) the bitrate of the audio will be restricted to a 128kbps M4A container. yrmp3 But, it could technically create 160kbps MP3 or something like that. I hope you don't get confused by these numbers. If you are a DJ/computer audiophile like me you'll see that mp3 is able to store up to 320kbps of sound quality. It is a great sound, but it's basically a cut-off sound. MP3 compresses the sound by cutting out the highest and most important frequencies. So the final sound is not complete.. The most deep house music won't sound any more pronounced when it is played at 320kbps MP3. When compared to listening to it through an MP3 vynil the sound quality is far superior to crystal glasses.

A beginner DJ shouldn't spend their time and money purchasing cheap copies popular songs. It's best to signup with the likes of Beatport, Fruity Loops or Juno Download to get access to a huge collection of high-quality, solid sound, which can be remixed or mashups using less-quality mp3s to boost the sound overall. You will still be able to get amazing bass if you use an MP3 with a poor quality, but it'll still sound amazing with its incredible bass. This is the sound that mp3 generally lacks: great bass, particularly when played in clubs with the incredible sound systems of 10kW of speakers.. Any audio defect can be very apparent on a high-powered sound systems.. On the other hand when people are hearing this sound, the atmosphere of the club will not let them focus on imperfections, - there'll be too much noise to cover anything sub par.


It is important to know that DJs shouldn't feel overwhelmed by this knowledge. Isn't it what makes a good DJ, great entertainer, to improve your sound each and every day? It is best to invest in the tools you use to produce the best sounds, best mood for club dancing and the most enjoyable time that club members can enjoy. Because they'll come back when you keep them dancing to great beats. It's the normal.
