The long drive home for Thanksgiving is always informative. I always bring my lectures with me.
Here's what has been going on in my world lately. While I haven't yet entered the college of my dreams, however, it's online, I'm gaining a lot of knowledge which will aid me get my goal - becoming a Youtube star or Instagram influencer. It's possible to laugh, but I've already started down this path with more than 1800 people following me. This isn't a lot, but it can be done with lots of positive thinking and exclusive content full of brilliant ideas. I will soon become that celebrity. It doesn't take much effort to achieve that, as Nas once stated. His words were always right for me.

The long and tedious journey home for the holidays promised to be as monotonous as any other. Since I'm a big person, I do not like being in a small bus seat. So I decided to conquer boredom this time. It's true! That's right! My college has two courses with many lectures. These lectures are hosted on their own servers. However, Youtube also offers quality options. Youtube provides several quality alternatives for students who are unable to sustain their HD video lectures at full speed.

Here I am getting ready for 8hr bus ride, thinking what to do, how can I make sure that I am having a good time, maybe some brain work.. I went through the video clips of my three lectures. The duration was about seven hours. I wanted to download the video to my Ipad and simply listened to the lecture riding the bus home for Thanksgiving. YouTube mp3 Converter was very useful in this regard.. First, I converted YouTube video to MP3 before downloading the file to my phone to avoid my iPad from becoming too fast or being too old. I used only audio on the phone because I have very little space there, and the audio lecture is just like podcast, plus nothing really visual happens in these lectures. The content is presented in a way that makes it seem like viewers are two to three years old. It's quite easy to understand even if you're not watching and just listening. So I downloaded the videos and converted them to MP3 format and then set up my headphones. I didn't buy the overpriced new Airpods yet, just using the old, cheap headphones I have..


To save time, I saved YouTube videos as mp4 files on my iPad. It is possible to see what's going on, and the teacher's activities, which is a great aspect. MP3s are smaller than video mp4, so I could not fit all 7 hours of video onto my iPad. Not willing to delete Family Guy from Hulu for the duration of my trip, and as well for the moment, in case my brain started to melt due to the countless lectures.

At the end, I was really happy I brought the lectures as both video and audio.. My iPad stopped working after 2 hours, after which my phone started to charge. I was listening to the audio instead of viewing the video, which is why it made it all the way to where I was going. As college resumed I was able quickly review what I had learned and impress the professor with my background knowledge. It's fascinating to see how technology can aid you to learn. Youtube and other video storage websites have a wealth of tutorials, videos to DIY, and lectures. It's something to consider.
