How to keep current with music from your own country even though it's been 10 years since you last left.

How you are doing? I am an Russki teenager who came to America to build a better future. In Russia I didn't have a lot of money nor was I within the middle class. My family and not me in general. Russia was a nation where young adults were not required to have money when they were growing up. ytmo3 So, we had to find new methods to earn money. There were many different schemes, but most of them similar to asking neighbors to pay just a few dollars to fill their shared vodka bottle. It was almost the same. We looked for quick ways to make some money so that we could even buy bread. We always had food cravings..

So, I reached America. ytmp3 But is nowhere like New York, Brooklyn, Brighton Beach. This city reminds me much of home. It's noisy, filthy, it's filled with Russian language, and the people are rude, well, just a normal Russian city bliss. I've spent a fair amount of money in Russian cafes and restaurants, as well as in books and music stores.

I love music, and I enjoy reading books. It turns out that it's not difficult to find Russian literature via Kindle. I stopped buying books in hardcopy. Plus, I don’t have a lot of space in my home and my wife is an absolute hoarder. So, I do to stay away from buying new books. The stacks looked smart for the first few weeks before they began to look sad. I finally placed them in my garage, which still can accommodate my stuff.

Music is a different thing. I love music because my job requires me to drive long distances so I listen to a lot. And as an old Russian native, I've not learned to like any new music I've found in the USA.. I simply don't like hip-hop, rap metal, rock and pop. I don't also like the new-age stuff kids like to dance too. The old Russian music is something I treasure and also the Russian-specific songs from jail. They are still popular even after all these years. They put everything on Youtube these days. Therefore, I can stay up all night on Youtube listening to music while I'm at work or when I get home from work.

I have a playlist of 300 songs that I am in love with. It's my go-to companion. I listen to it throughout the day and find it difficult to use. There are over 300 songs! But, when I need to listen to them in my car I don't have internet access. I require it for navigation and driving. I record the songs at home. When I am in the middle of the list, I take some songs from Youtube and then convert them to mp3 files. Then , I save the mp3s on CD with my laptop. I then take the disc to the car to listen to. This site allows you to take your Youtube playlist and print the songs. Each song can be saved to your computer in an MP3 file. It's then simple to convert it to an audio CD. Sometimes, I'm not careful and make a data CD. It will not play on my old car stereo. But when audio is recorded, it's fascinating to see how technology works. I don't have to be online and I don't require any gadgets to play mp3, I just insert CD into the car stereo slot, and the music of Russia is playing in the middle of Manhattan, when I get there as I drive around.

It's easy to download videos from Youtube and save the videos as MP3 files. It is then possible to save them to your Smartphone. A friend of mine connected his phone to his car stereo and the phone started playing high quality sound in less than 2 seconds. It was also feasible to stream Spotify and Pandora radio, so you don't need too much internet. This is something I'm going to test the next time. Of course, I'll take care not to use any wifi that is free.
