Traveling with kids is challenging. It isn't possible to rely on the internet at the top of a mountain. I would rather prepare at the comfort of my home.

Yes, that's what I said.. My kids think that the WiFi on the top of the mountain only has weak signals. Even though it's not huge it isn't in the normal range of cell networks. My kids have to look around for better internet connections while my wife and I set up small camping sites. We're hoping to stay for at least one day. The tiny brook is right next to us and is a source of water for our camp. That's right, too.. My wife can't go camping without an ample supply of fresh water which is why we have our own most of the times.

So my children get back on social media while I admire the panorama. While this hill isn't huge but it's situated in the middle of bigger ones. We go out every once in a blue lunar cycle in order to connect with mother nature. These trips are my favorite and I'm the only person who really enjoys these trips. My wife insists that I do this, possibly partly because she understands the importance to me to be out in the wild. However, my children, they're a different story completely. Internet is often unavailable. Your streaming music may be interrupted by something in the cloud or other magnetic movement for up to one minute before it is restored. This can be quite annoying to me, cause I usually end up hearing the entire thing..

We decided to prepare after having a few gruelling travels without internet where the normal internet service on our phones wasn't functioning properly. We, and I mean my wife and I here, made the decision to prepare for the situation when they, our children will be without internet for longer than 10 minutes.. We developed two entertainment sources that we can access whenever the internet isn't working on our camping trips. The tablet had music videos and some of the most popular songs it had. Our most-loved Youtube mp3 converter helped us take songs from videos, convert them to mp3 file and download to the tablet. It also works with playlists, so it was quite a fast procedure, despite being a bit long.. Additionally, the majority of songs were already on my laptop which meant it was only a matter of copying many files. You can now listen to music or videos when you're bored. This is a fantastic idea, right? You can hear the item without making any noise.

The second tablet was mostly a collection of television shows and cartoons we downloaded from Hulu as well as Netflix apps that offer offline storage to watch later. The quality may not be the best but it's something. We have several seasons of Breaking Bad there, and numerous cartoons like Family Guy and Disenchantment. The shows are very enjoyable. The process was very simple to download. Install the app to activate downloads to watch offline download episodes, then mark them as downloaded. Tablet 2 was just a few minutes away from tablet 1 but my kids enjoyed it so much that they started using it and watching shows. There were some DIY videos I added, like setting up the tent or skinning fresh caught fish. These are activities you could not be able to do at home. Some of these videos came from Youtube and then converted into MP4 which I then downloaded to my tablet. It's more convenient to have videos on your tablet even when you work.

These 2 tricks kept my kids busy during 4 camping trips with the family. Even though they don't like going outside anymore They know that their tablet 2, will keep them busy during boring downtime. And they'll be able to take it home once they're completed. I've never felt happier. This is everything I've ever wanted, to be with my family.
