Utilizing BERT for Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis
via Constructing Auxiliary Sentence
* Instead of using ABSA, the authors used Targeted ABSA (TABSA).
** Each sentence in the document is a set of words w1, w2, ..., wn.
** Among those, there is a set of targeted words T: T = {t1, t2, ..., tk}.
=> Input: (s, T, A)
Where:
- s is a sentence.
- T is a set of targets. --> Companies in our case
- A is a fixed set of Aspects. --> ({Organization, general})
These are the auxiliary sentences.
=> Output: y = {Pos, Neg, Neu} (in our case {Rnd or not})
We might use NER to get T and A.
Approach:
1. Detect the mention of an aspect 'a' for the target 't'.
2. Determine the polarity 'y' for the detected target-aspect pairs.
# I think this approach is complicated due to additional target-aspect info.
# For ABSA, we can use the same approach to construct the auxiliary sentence with only aspects.
