Mountain Bikes - Big Wheel
Mystery surrounds the origins and evolution of the Big Wheel. Many theories have been put forward over the years. One of the most popular theories is that the original Big Wheel was a toy for children. Gabriel Weil, an inventor designed the Big Wheel. After a brief time it was produced, it became a very popular toy for toddlers. They could climb on top of them and play with them. Finally, powered cars were made.

Newly empowered, Big Wheel pursued Rocket Racer across New York and eventually wound up meeting and battling with him on the Empire State Building. Weil had never used his new car before and Big Wheel was in great danger of falling off a high roof. It is generally agreed that the automobile wasn't the first to be designed. According to a popular saying, "If your boy is a boy, you can get him a bicycle."

Benz, a bicycle tire manufacturer, took Weil’s original design and gave it a new name. The Weil brothers sold the rights for the name "Big Wheel" to describe their new automobile in 1847. The Weil brothers patent the design immediately. Although bicycle tires had been used for decades prior to their discovery, it was not until the Weils that they could create a sturdy, stable bicycle wheel with a smooth external surface. The Weilers began mass-producing the Big Wheel in different sizes.

The next step was to make a model of this new vehicle. The prototype was a four-wheeler vehicle that had no pedals and a seat. This unusual vehicle was soon nicknamed the "Weil Kid." The Weil Kid prototype was the ideal size for a bike-on bicycle. The bicycle wheel's large diameter allowed the rider to stop easily and roll smoothly. Soon the bicycle was transformed into a standard ride-on style by manufacturers such as Continental, Tomkins, and Poulan.

Giant's Niner is a specialized mountainbike made by Giant. It has a fascinating past. The Niner is a low-profile, freestyle motocross bike. Because it is a low-profile bike, Giant was able to add bigger diameter rims to create a lightweight yet durable frame. Giant designed the Niner for dirt riding and competitive cycling events like the Cyclocross.

As mountain bikes became more popular, so did interest in dirt bikes. Dirt bikes have similar characteristics to road bikes, but they have smaller wheels to make it easier for them to maneuver over obstacles like gravel, sand or mud. Dirt bikes are preferred by many competitors to ride-on bikes due to their smaller tire contact area and greater maneuverability.

It is important to consider the individual's riding style and personality when choosing the right bike for them. A bigger wheel with a wider contact patch and a larger tire can be useful for maneuvering through tight corners and around obstacles. But if the rider is not a fan of climbing hills or tight switchbacks, the Niner may not be the best option. You should also consider how many obstacles the rider will face. If the rider is competitive and prepared to tackle numerous obstacles, then the Big Wheel may be the better option.

Big Wheel: Giant's Big Wheel bicycle wheels are the ideal tool for cyclists who enjoy pushing themselves off the trails or mountain biking trails. Giant has been improving the Big Wheel line ever since its initial release. They have added new features to their Big Wheel tire collection. Newer versions feature alloy rims and wider tire treads for increased traction on wet and muddy conditions. The Big Wheel is distinguished from other mountain bikes by its many safety features and external links. The internet is a great source for purchasing all kinds of bicycling gear and accessories, so take some time to browse Giant's selection of Big Wheel products online and you'll be sure to find something that strikes your fancy.
