What is an Activist? An Activist is a public figure who attempts to bring about change by peaceful means. Their efforts may be as political or as personal as they can come. They are people who use peaceful methods to bring about change. To become an effective activist or leader, an individual must be committed to a particular cause and be capable of influencing or persuading others in a given community to support the cause they advocate.
