I understand that wandering dogs are unpredictable. I have personally invited in one cat that was stray this winter. It was very cold during month of January and February. The water and milk I gave to my feral cats outside would melt. I was forced to purchase special heating pads. In any case, this little female cat is now visiting each day for food and drinks, staying overnight and then in the morning, she's off on adventures..
Why should I keep her? Like dogs, cats can be equally dangerous and unpredictable as can be. Even though cats have claws that are just as deadly as dogs' teeth are and can bite as bad as dogs. Although no cat can do as much damage like a great dane there's a line to walk. If she's not my cat, could she bite me? Will I be able to get her to let go of her claws? Does that mean she's less equipped for outside life in which she is spending 2/3 of her time? I'm not sure.. One thing for certain is that she loves watching mouse videos on Youtube.. It's funny and she could sit for hours watching them sneak in and out of their hiding places..
