Akhirnya Dee pun pindah ke Chicago sendirian, awalnya ia ragu tapi ragu bukan tipenya. Dee melakukan apapun dengan hasil kerja kerasnya sendiri. Ia tangguh namun sayang terkadang hatinya lemah.
Di keadaan seperti ini, dee jadi lebih sering berkelahi dan melakukan kegiatan kegiatan bela diri.
Di chicago itulah Dee menjadi lebih tangguh dan kuat, dan disanalah juga Dee mahir di bidang kesenian. Terutama seni musik, teater, dan tari.
