La ecología es el estudio de los organismos vivos que interactúan entre si y con el entorno físico.
BIOTOPOS (o abióticos): factores NO vivos.
BIOCENOSIS: seres vivos y su interacción.
ECOSISTEMA: es la interacción de seres vivos con su entorno físico (Biotopo + Biocenosis).
ESPECIE: son los organismos que tienen características morfológicas SIMILARES pero dejan un descendiente fértil.
POBLACION: conjunto de la misma especie que conviven en un lugar y en un momento.
COMUNIDAD: conjunto de POBLACIONES que conviven en determinado lugar y momento (diferentes especies que están conviviendo).
NICHO: suma de recursos, estrategias, lugares etc. que NECESITAN una población.
COMUNIDAD BIOTICA: conjunto de poblaciones de especies diferentes.
NICHO ECOLOGICO: todos los factores ABIOTICOS y factores BIOTICOS necesarios para que la especie se desarrollé y se reproduzca.

5. El hábitat es donde se desarrolla su especié.
