Music from other cultures is one of my favourite things to enjoy when I'm bored. It makes me feel happier.

It's the truth. It is true. Some of it makes you laugh.. because sometimes other languages sound silly to me. Russian. I was born in Russia and was raised there until I reached legal age. Since then, I've lived in the USA. Therefore, I've learned a lot of languages. Sometimes, I am having a laugh like a newborn watching videos about languages. The music is not always the most important thing since I'm paying attention to the words, to the emotions, to the flow. I find French and Turkish Rap and Hip Hop amusing. Russian recitatives and trap are also extremely entertaining. Spanish hard rock. Chinese heavy metal. Although certain songs don't sound real but all countries and cultures go through similar developmental stages, music styles that are common to all different cultures are found across many different countries. I'm not sure, maybe it's because most of my life has been spent in the USA, but Russian music always sounds odd to me.. I'm not sure. I like it, but often find it to be a bit shallow.
