Ginagamit ito kadalasan sa mga magagaspang na surface o yung may mga nakaubok sa workpiece.
kung saan grinding ay madalas ginagamit sa pag tanggal ng material o pag papakinis ng workpiece.
Planing machine
ginagamit ito para sa accurate na flat surface and cutting slots.
Kapareho nito ang shaper machine pero mas malaki lamang ang planing machine.
Ang workpiece ay gumagalaw from one point to another after each cutting stroke
