Don't watch online seminars that have unique video events. Instead, download a video file.
This is great for any live video even if it's exclusive to subscribers or has a time limit. It has not stopped us. My home internet is slow and unstable. This is because I use the WiFi mobile hotspot located at the motel. I'll sometimes bring water to their offices. They will then change their password every couple weeks. This allows me to save on the expense of buying my own home Internet, plus I do not have cable or anything that would require a lot of installation, and I am renting, so this is a question I'd need to discuss with my landlord.. Are you able to know how far this is moving? It's amazing how much effort it takes to have your own home cable connection. I'm not worried about it, and instead access the internet from my motel. It also lets me be more stealthy, for all the things I do online, it's best that I don't have my personal street address associated with my IP address..

So, whenever there is an exclusive online seminar like that of my investment advisor or the university that offers a guest lecture by someone famous, it's all the more. Due to my slow connection streaming video isn't possible for me. When I finally download video onto my laptop, which I'll illustrate below, it typically requires 2-3 times the length of video, thus it is evident that my connection is very slow, only 30% of what I'd need to watch video smoothly and without buffering interruptions. It was so slow that my connection was unable to handle it, so I found a solution to it. I downloaded online videos to my PC so that it could be watched repeatedly.
Here's what I do in the past. I use Chrome browser, Firefox or Safari to open the inspect tab. Right-click the page, and call the inspect page. Switch to network tab and look for the video playlist file. It will most likely include the extension m3u8. The way it works is that your video stream is split into several small files. The internet browser downloads them one at a time, and plays them all in order. This is a seamless process that requires more data transfer to complete than the size of the file. However, this is how the MPEG stream is set up and we shouldn't be complaining.
Then, I click right on the file to copy its URL (into the clipboard) Then, I navigate to the site to download the online video. I input the playlist's URL into the input box, click submit, and I am presented with various download options. They provide possible file sizes as well as transfer times. The larger the file greater in quality. I pick a lower quality file even if it's too slow to my Internet.

I've set it to download the file, usually it's mp4 format for video. Even though it can take many hours however, the rewards of learning are always what keeps me going. I'm unable to tune in to the live stream so saving online video to my PC makes sense. I use it to stay up to date with every available information. It's all I do to keep my mind stimulated by new ideas as well as ideas and intriguing technological futurities. All of this comes to life when videos are saved and WiFi is shut off. You should try it too. There is no buffering, no lagging, and smooth streaming.
