Camping in remote places is the ideal option for my family. However, we always have technology with us.

Let me stress one thing now: We're a camping, outdoor family. We spend our time being in contact with nature. We have cats, pets, and dogs. They are our joyful campers throughout the day. We know exactly where we are, and how it got there. We also know how to spend an hour or two watching TV with each other. We don't like to give up our little vices, leave home without entertainment or music, that's not us. We insist on having a generator and a 32" screen and a decent however not too big 32" television.. Our cats are free and go around their everyday lives within the vicinity. We love spending time at the campfire, singing songs and talking. Funny, they always know when to come back for the homecoming part.. A few times we've left one or both in the wilderness, but luckily we go to the same national park nearly every time which means that finding them on our next visit is never a problem. Joiner is a breed of hunter-helper dog that discovers our kittens when we return. They never lose weight.

Our tablets and smartphones are not a problem while we're at campfire. youtube mp4 However, we do appreciate technology and will not ever stop using it even while we camp. Although our father does not like it, he does not turn off his mobile for the whole weekend. According to him, it makes him feel more relaxed. After a long day of fishing and hunting, we enjoy a massive meal in the woods. After dinner, we enjoy the TV or music videos or shows we downloaded prior to our trip. We usually cannot get any Internet in the woods which is the primary reason why parents aren't averse to us on the phones - sooner or later we're out of games and saved emails to respond and resume conversations. Prior to a trip, we typically download videos using a Youtube clip converter, or other website for downloading videos. HULU, with its many download options, is an excellent tool to watch hours of films and shows copied onto our laptops prior the trip. Series and movies are excellent for relaxing on camping trips. They are also easy to travel there. Three hours in a camper are very boring. My father is a massive admirer of this series. He focuses on the road and needs the ability to control this enormous machine.

GPS is yet another aspect of technology that we cannot afford to lose during camping trips. It's essential in an emergencies to know where you are, and also how to return home. While nothing has ever happened to us on our trip, we have seen reports of people suffering from snow and avalanches. As long as you know the safest location, GPS will always point you towards it. The friendly satellites in the sky will also point GPS in the right direction. Another aspect of technology is utilized to safely transport us from and to the camping site. A helicopter can be dispatched to your location by zooming in on it, in case of emergencies. GPS can be useful for many reasons, including remote travel. It is essential to not ignore technology.
