The online video storage sites may be shut down or unavailable. Here are some methods to backup your social media accounts to your own laptop.

My personal story isn't one with a lot of depth. I was born, went to school, got a job, and then finally got an internet connection. However, there were some traumatic moments in which everything seemed lost forever. https://getvideo.club One of those times was when my laptop computer at home became unresponsive. However, after a bit of tinkering, getting new desktop and moving hard drive from my old one to the new one I was able restore all the work on that drive. It took me three days of sweating and tears. But, I learned an important point: Dropbox and personal file servers are a great way to automate or manually backup my day's work.

However, it isn't the best choice. The larger your online data storage, the more will need to pay to protect it. It's simple and quite safe. And it's of course very accessible, and it can be downloaded from anywhere there's internet access. But what happens when the internet isn't available? I have my laptop on hand in these situations. It acts as my last line of defense against the worst. There are two drives on it, one for each HDD. This lets them copy each other and also makes sure that only one copy is left in case of failure. Since I don't copy much my laptop isn't very reliable. This is the reason I hope that not 2 drives go out simultaneously.

Another day of sadness came a couple of years ago. I am careful not to lose work. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I now have multiple copies and am able to access it from wherever the internet is accessible. It was Periscope. I was a frequent user few years back, and even this last summer, during the riots in 2020, I was able to participate in some live streams.. All of an sudden Periscope TV is closing, and all videos will be gone in a couple of weeks. What do I do? I'd like to have all the videos downloaded , so they are able to be saved offline on my laptop. They are very important to me. This is the last time I hung out with my friend.

His site is one I regularly visit. It allows me to download videos from Youtube and Instagram and Facebook which are some of the platforms that I store the majority of my live streams. I'm a fan of politics and underground movements. I also take a lot of videos of live events and save them for future usage. I then post them to my YouTube channel and back it up into my computer. This is the way I work. This lets me cross-posting videos on multiple platforms. Not only can I share Youtube videos on Facebook and Twitter, but I can also upload that video directly onto Facebook. It's its own video. As it turns out, I've got over 3TB of live streams that I've made in the last eight years. Periscope Lives aren't going away.. It's helped me greatly.


It's as easy as. The video I wish to save on Periscope or Youtube is open. I copy the URL using the share button. Then, I go to the video downloader website and copy the URL. Then, I can download the video to my computer or to my desktop. I can also save it on my computer to use on other platforms. It is also possible to share it with friends. Periscope isn't on every website. However, this website offers Periscope support.

The video format used for video fragments is called MpegTS, which is also known as transport stream. Each fragment has all the data necessary for video decoding. This allows each streamer to start streaming seamlessly from the middle. It also keeps data off the browser, as it downloads 360x10 second files instead of the 1hr files. This means that even if you only watch 25 seconds of the stream it will only download 4-6 pieces. (It receives 3-4 fragments from the current 25 second stretch plus 1-2 subsequent fragments if you keep watching the stream). This helps greatly reduce total downloads needed to watch 25 seconds from the middle of the stream. There is no need to download whole 1hr of video prior to that 25sec..
