Ingredients for Hyderabadi Green Chicken:
Chicken - 500 gram
Onions - 2 nos.
Ginger - 2 inch
Garlic - 8 to 10 cloves
Green Chillies (for paste) - 8 to 10
Green Chillies (slit) - 4 to5
Fresh Coriander - 1 bowl
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala powder - 2 tsp
Yogurt - 200 gram
Oil - 5 to 6 tbsp
How to make Hyderabadi Green Chicken
Method :
1. Blend the onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies and coriander into a fine paste.
2. To the chicken add turmeric powder, salt, yogurt and the green paste.
3. Massage the chicken and marinate for 30 minutes.
4. To a pan add some oil and fry the slit green chillies init.
5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder to the oil. Saute for 1 min.
6. Add the marinated chicken and the green marinade.
7. Cook it on low heat for 5 minutes and cover it for 10 minutes.
8. Stir it in between and then add the Garam Masala powder. Mix well.
9. Cook for another 5 minutes covered.
10. Turn off the heat and then add the chopped fresh coriander.
11. Mix well and serve it out...
