 In order to agree the aims and objectives of attending the conference or training course, you should discuss the training course/conference with your Manager beforehand.
 On return from a training course/conference, you may be requested by your manager to write a report on the course or conference.
 Your Manager may do a follow-up evaluation approximately 3 months after the course, to measure the effectiveness of that course.
 All course materials that you are given to take away with you at the end of a training course are the property of the Company if funded by the company. All materials (manuals, workbooks, etc.) must be accessible to all staff members.
 All educational or third party courses i.e. Financial Accounting, Degree or Diploma courses are paid for by the employee and reimbursed by the Company on successful completion of exams. Proof of exam results should be furnished to receive payment. Payback / Deductions
Any deductions from wages that are made will be done so in line with the appropriate legislation. Where deductions do occur the Company will notify you at least one week in advance of any monies being deduced from your normal wage, by providing you with a written statement of the particulars of any deductions being made.
Subscription/ Training Fees
 100% of fees are refundable should the employee leave employment within 3 months; or
 50% refundable should the employee leave
Issue 1 January 2015
within 6 months of payment to the respective body.
 25% refundable should the employee leave within 12 months of payment to the respective body.
Education / Exam Fees
 Fees paid by the Company, or agreed to be reimbursed post qualification by the Company will either be refunded to the Company or deemed non-reimbursable should the contract of employment be terminated by either party during the exams or within 24 months of completion of the final exam as per scale outlined below.
 The refund will be calculated as follows:
o Employee leaves during exams – 100% of fees refunded or deemed non reimbursable
o Employee leaves in first 12 months post qualification – 100% of fees refundable
o Employee leaves 12-18 months post qualification – 75% of fees refundable
o Employee leaves 18-24 months post qualification – 50% of fees refundable
