Dear Patty,
I am sorry for some of your recent problems. You know I can help you. I have offered you how to help pay for your car and how to have some cash left over. You would not be wise to turn this down.
Two other people want this job I am offering , but I am giving you one more opportunity at this.
Maybe because I feel as if you need help and not many people want to help you. I really do want to and I need you.
We need to talk. Why don't you make an appointment here, or we can meet for a coke somewhere,
Anne-Marie is no longer here for the the time being. She was just getting to be a handful. Andrew is here, and is doing well in college. He goes 3 days a week, which leaves him 4 days available to help me.
I actually miss you, Patty. We criss crossed each others lives for a long time. Any time you needed me, I tried to be there for you. I love little Fred, and hope he is okay. Tell me that he is.
Don't be angry in your heart. That is only a losing proposition. I tell this to Bill. I am calling Tela today to come see me for a while. At my age and health, time is short.
I want to help you get fixed up with making your car payments. I know you and you are not happy with out being able to pay your debts. You can have some self-respect in making some payments on your car. Let me help you Patty, and you help me. I want to hear from you. A telephone call is
simple to make. If nothing else, tell me to my face you don't want to work for me and help pay for your car that way. That will open up my options. Regardless of what the world does or says, I know we can help each other. Tela asks about you and would like to see you.
As I stated in my other letter, we have some mending of fences to do. I am not a sneaky person and am 100% up front. That is the way people should be.
I still have the little house in Florida. Martha and her family and Bill go there every couple of months.
I mostly put my heart into this house, and when time comes to dig up and split the bulbs, I hope you are here with me.
Well, I hope you come to work here. I don't want to break in any one new and after all is said and done, I like you and feel I can be of help to you and you me.
